Temporary Acoustic Enclosure

Temporary acoustic enclosure with 85% noise reduction (NRC 0.85). Fully encloses concrete pumps, generators and plant. Engineered hire across Australia

Product Details

Temporary Acoustic Enclosure for Plant, Pumps and Generators

The Noise Control Wall Enclosure is a fully enclosed acoustic enclosure that wraps noisy plant such as concrete pumps, compressors and generators on every side. Built from the same patented 85% NRC panels as our Noise Control Wall, it adds an acoustic roof to contain noise completely rather than blocking a single face. Every acoustic enclosure is engineered to your site footprint and certified as a temporary structure for hire across Australia.

Every acoustic enclosure is supported by temporary structural engineering and wind-load certified to AS 4687.1-2022 (Importance Level 2). Panels are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable at end of life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an acoustic enclosure?
An acoustic enclosure is a structure that surrounds a noise source on all sides to contain and absorb sound. The Noise Control Wall Enclosure uses acoustic panels and a roof to enclose plant such as concrete pumps and generators, reducing noise breakout to surrounding areas.

How much noise does the enclosure reduce?
It achieves a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85, around 85% sound absorption, and a Weighted Sound Reduction Index (Rw) of 27 dB, with strongest performance at the 500 Hz, 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz frequencies most noticeable to people nearby.

Can the enclosure be customised to my site?
Yes. Height, length and footprint are infinitely adjustable in 500 mm increments, and each enclosure is engineered as a temporary structure to suit your equipment and site constraints.

What equipment can it enclose?
It is commonly used for concrete pumps, diesel generators, compressors, crushers and ventilation fans on construction, infrastructure and mining sites.

Where can I hire an acoustic enclosure?
Control Hire supplies acoustic enclosures for hire across Australia, with branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
