Hacer Group approached Control Hire to assist in the design, installation and hire of a noise attenuation solution around a loud on-site concrete pump in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
The Challenge:
Concrete Pumps are notoriously loud and can reach noise levels of up 95dB. This can impact the surrounding community as well as the workers on site. Over-exposure to sustained high noise activities can lead to multiple alarming health issues like hearing loss, tinnitus, high blood pressure, headaches and more.
The Solution:
Control Hire provided an engineered solution to the Australian Standards with the highest noise reduction rating possible to provide maximum noise absorption utilising both the Noise Control Wall and Noise Blankets.
The Noise Control Wall has the highest NRC rating in the temporary noise attenuation market with the ability to be designed and engineered to any height or length or shape.
