3 x 4.5m Dust Containment Tent Hire
The Control Hire 3 x 4.5m Dust Containment Tent is our larger portable enclosure for capturing dust at the source. It gives you extra floor space for bigger materials, longer cuts and two person tasks, while keeping dust inside the tent and away from other trades, the public and finished areas.
Inside, the tent gives you a 2950 x 4450mm work area with 1930mm of internal height. Two people can have it up in about 10 minutes, and at 18kg it is easy to relocate between work areas, indoors or outdoors.
Connect an Air Scrubber for Full Dust Extraction
The tent has a 300mm duct port so you can connect an air scrubber or extraction fan. The air scrubber draws dusty air out of the tent through ducting, filters it and returns clean air to the work area. This also keeps the tent under negative pressure, so dust is pulled inward rather than escaping through the doors.
Pairing the tent with an air scrubber is one of the most effective ways to control respirable crystalline silica from engineered stone, concrete and masonry work. It helps you keep exposure below the workplace exposure standard and meet your WHS obligations to control dust at the source. For the larger enclosure volume, ask us about the 5000m³/hr air scrubber.
