Product Details
The Single Arm Welding Fume Filter is built for workshops or construction sites running light to medium-duty welding, where fumes need to be captured close to the arc rather than relying on general room ventilation. An articulating extraction arm positions easily over the work, with a choice of reach options to suit different bench and bay layouts.
At the heart of the unit is a large cassette-style filter with one of the biggest surface areas in its class, paired with a washable metal pre-filter that captures larger particulate and provides spark entrapment. A filter-saturation indicator on the front gradually shifts from white to red as the filter loads, giving a clear visual cue for when maintenance is due: and an optional activated carbon stage helps control odours in enclosed work areas.
A stainless-steel-ready configuration is also available, fitted with a high-efficiency filter cartridge suited to stainless steel welding fume extraction.
As a guide, the standard filter is well suited to annual consumption of up to 750 kg of solid wire, 450–500 kg of flux-cored wire or electrodes, and unlimited TIG use: contact Control Hire for guidance on the right setup for your welding volume.
Control Hire is a construction safety equipment hire business that specialises in products that manage dust, ventilation, noise and fumes on construction sites.
